Principles
- Local processing. Every tool runs in your browser. We don't run servers that receive your text or images.
- Visible maths. Calculators print the formula and the numbers that went into it.
- Sourced limits. A platform limit or image size appears only after we confirm it in the platform's own documentation or an official announcement. Each one shows its source and the date checked.
- No invented numbers. We don't publish average RPMs or engagement benchmarks, because published figures use inconsistent methods.

YouTube Thumbnail Downloader
Reads the 11-character video ID from the link in your browser and requests YouTube's standard image names (maxresdefault, sddefault, hqdefault, mqdefault, default) from i.ytimg.com. When a size doesn't exist, YouTube returns a 120 × 90 placeholder; the tool detects that and marks the size unavailable. Only YouTube links are accepted.

Revenue = views ÷ 1,000 × RPM. Daily views convert to monthly using 365 ÷ 12 days per month and to yearly using 365 days.
Social Media Character Counter
The main count uses the browser's Unicode text segmentation, so emoji and accented letters count as one visible character. Platform meters use each platform's rule: X's weighted count (emoji and CJK = 2, links = 23, after Unicode NFC normalisation), Threads' byte-length rule for emoji, UTF-8 bytes for YouTube descriptions, and a cautious UTF-16 count elsewhere. Our link detection for X is simpler than X's own library, so unusual links may count differently.

By followers: (interactions ÷ posts) ÷ followers × 100. By reach: interactions ÷ total reach × 100. Interactions are likes, comments, saves and shares, using the ones you enter.
Social Media Image Resizer
Decodes the image with the browser's built-in decoder (applying camera rotation), crops or letterboxes it, and downsizes in halving steps for sharper results before encoding to JPG, PNG or WebP. Metadata isn't copied to the output.
